Beauty Blogmas #3 || Pennys Winter Goodies Beauty Haul!!

Hello, Hello,

I have done a little retail therapy!! Of the Pennys / Primark variety of course!! Nothing better in my eyes! & I thought what better way to spend a Satuarday in December then to share it all with my friends here on #BeautyBlogmas on my little blog!!

Makeup Bag - E5.00

Ok so I have many makeup bags but there all a bit dirty now (I know I can throw them in the washing machine... well some of them.. But who has the time haha) I have been looking for the right one for a couple of weeks now but couldn't find it. I didn't want a normal one that was just a open bag as it drives me mad when everything gets dirty from brushes and things. Then I spotted this beauty! Exactly what I was looking for! One side for brushes & one side for anything else I want to take with me!! #Loveit

P.S Pro - Mattifying Primer - E5.00

Ok so originally I was planning on picking up the maybelline Baby Skin Primer as it is a personal favourite of mine. However when I tried this on the back of my hand it had the same kind of texture & my hand was left silky smooth after it so I thought 'why not?' and if it doesn't work out then Ill just pick up the Baby Skin in a couple of days. I know this isn't the time of year to be using a mattifying primer when I have normal to dry skin but I also know that this is the time of year for parties and events! This means I need my make up bullet proof on those occasions.... so let's give it a whirl shall we??

P.S Pro - Miracle Primer - E5.00

I also found this primer in the range. This Primer has a different feel & look to it. I haven't given it a try yet but I am honestly hoping that it is going to be a budget version of Benefit's Porefessional which I am already a fan of!! I also thought I could use this for everyday and keep the mattifying primer for occasional wear!! It looks and feels similar to the Porefessional but whether it performs in a similar way remains to be seen!!

Eyelash Curlers - E1.50

Okay, Okay I will admit these were a total impulse purchase! But how pretty!? I do have my pair from Fuschia Cosmetics that I got about 3 years ago now (oh god I hadn't actually realised that until right now!) So it was about time for a new one to be fair!

Rose Gold Animal Print Hand Held Mirror - E1.50

Again HOW PRETTY!! It was not on the list but it was definitely coming home with me!! I have my other one which I got last christmas (pictured below) & Still use when im out and about even though its christmas themed but I think I will replace it for a while & bring it out again in the festive season!

P.S - Eyelashes - E1.50 (Each)

I picked two more packs of my favourite individual lashes! I wont talk too much about it as I've done a whole review post on them. If you missed it you can check it out here - Full Review

Wet & Wild - 1 Step Wonder Gel Nail Colour / Shade - Pale in Comparison

I spotted this line of Nail polish & Im not sure how long they have been out but I couldn't resist trying them! I'm really into pale nudes at the moment or really dark colours (theres no in between haha) So hence why I chose this colour. I recently saw a YouTube video with Tati (Glam Life Guru) where she said Pinky Swear was a dupe for Essie's Fiji & I was going to pick up that but I was drawn to this shade at the time. However if I like the formula I will definitely be picking up Pinky Swear as well as other shades!

Essence Waterproof Liquid Liner - (get price)

Again this is a firm favourite of mine! It has been mentioned as a dupe for the stila liquid liner but as I have not personally tried that I can not confirm nor deny, all I know is that It is currently my favourite liquid liner at the moment and a product I always go back to. If you are in the market for a new liquid liner I definitely recommend you give this one a shot!

Catrice Matt Bronzing Powder

Again another favourite, I have used this for a while and my other one bit the bullet during the week, Its been on pan for a while & then I dropped it!! I really was planning on trying something new but again I wanted to stick what I know works for me. I will branch out soon though. This one is for medium skin but there is one for darker skin too that I saw (I assume there is one for light skin too but I didnt see it available) This is another product I recommend if you are looking for a new bronzer.

P.S. Brow Kit - E2.50

Now I have a review up of the P.S. Brow Kit but since that review they have changed it. Now it still contains the powder brow shade (which I love) but it no longer contains the lighter shade, which to be fair didn't work for me as a brow shade but (if you read my review you will already know) I did like to use it as a powder contour shade. Now the little trio contains a brown tinted wax, a powder brunette brow shade & a powder highlight shade. I haven't used this new version yet but I'm looking forward to giving it a go!!

 Essence Long Lasting Lipstick - Shade 26 - E2.90

If you have been with me for a while now (Thank you!) Then you will know I have raved and raved about the Essence Long Lasting Lipstick range. #obsessed I found a new shade! Woop woop!! Love this shade and can't wait to get some good use out of it!! Perfect Shade for this time of year!! In the Swatches picture below the swatch of the lipstck is accompanied a the Penny's / Primark Lip liner.

Penny's / Primark Lip Liner - E1.50

This is the first lip liner from the line that I have tried. The one thing I don't like about the product is that the shade name is not on the product itself! I think it may have been on the packaging but I wasn't vigilant enough. So after consulting the Google gods. I believe this is shade 06 Nude. I saw this shade and though it was very "MAC" like & since I purchased this I hear that it has indeed been duped for MAC's Whirl!! Shows I have a good eye I guess!! #Proud. I hope it performs the same way!! I will keep you updated!

Thats it!! My Little Penny's / Primark Beauty Haul!! Have you done and Pennys beauty shopping lately!!?? Please let me know in the comments below!! I'd love to know what you've been picking up!!

Beauty Blogmas #2 || Holiday Skin Saviours

Hello beauties,

Welcome to DAY 2!!! Still can't believe it!! Woohoo!! Today I want to talk about my favourite skincare products for this time of year. *Dont forget about the GIVEAWAY All links and details will be at the end of this post.

This time of year can really play havok with our skin! My skin is generally normal to dry but this time of year it is definitely more on the dry side. These are the products I have been using recently & I am very happy with the way they are working for me. None of these products are super expensive either so if you are looking to add or swap out and item in your routine then any of these should be easily accessible and should also fit most budgets.

You can also kind of see this as my up-dated winter skincare routine. When looking through these products you will notice that many of them are simple or really hydrating. This is because my skin gets more sensitive and dry so I prefer to use products that don't include harsh chemicals or anything that is going to irritate my skin. If you have similar problems these products just might help!! Besides I always think clean and hydrating products are always a good idea!!

*Disclaimer -There are many Boots products in this review. This is simply because I like the range not because I'm being sponsored in anyway. They have no idea I am writing this post.

Cleansers

At the moment I am using two cleansers. The first one is an oil cleanser. It is the Simple - Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil. This contains pure grapeseed oil and multi-vitimins & claims that it doesn't contain artificial perfume or colour. I picked this up recently enough and it says new on the label but I'm not sure exactly how new it is. Its new to me anyway and I'm enjoying it so far. My second cleanser is the Boots Essentials Cucumber Cleansing Lotion For All Skin Types. I like to use this for my second cleanse because its creamy, gentle and the cucumber makes it refreshing.

Facial Scrub

As my skin gets really dry I have to exfoliate to combat any flakiness but as my skin is more sensitive I can't use anything that is too harsh. For a while now I have been using Boots Simply Sensitive Cleansing Jelly Ball Scrub with Aloe Vera. I find it has worked very well with my skin.

Micellar Water

I having been putting many micellar waters to the test in the past couple of months (Reviews coming soon) and I have yet to find one that I prefer to the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (Original) I know there are different types available so if this one doesnt work for your skin type I'm sure there will be another one in the range for you!!

Facial Toner

Again some toners can be very harsh. I always try to include one into my routine as they restore the PH balance in your skin after all that cleansing. I'm sure the one I am currently using is not the most gentle in the world but I have been using it since the summer and it takes such a long time to go through them. So I'm going to continue using it until its all gone. Also you use so little of it I don't think it will cause much damage. It doesn't seem to be causing my skin any irritation any way. The one I am referring to is the Boots Cucumber Facial Toner For All Skin Types. I know it contains alcohol but I find it refreshing (again must be the cucumber).

Eye Cream/Gel

I have two that I am currently using. One in the morning & one in the evening. In my morning routine I have been using the Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Gel for all skin types and for my evening routine I have been using the Boots Simply Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream with Aloe Vera.

Facial Serum

The serum I am currently loving is the Lacura Face Care Renew Q10 Anti Wrinkle Multi Intensive Serum.  Im a big fan of the Lacura serums I have a review of the Lacura Aqua Complete Multi Intensive Serum (Full Review) I decided to pick this one up instead to give it ago & I have to say I am very impressed with this range.

Moisturisers

I have three main moisturisers. One for daytime and 2 that I alternate between for nighttime. The daytime moisturiser I have been using Boots Simply Sensitive Protecting Day Moisturiser SPF15 with Aloe Vera. I like that it is once again a clean and fragrance free product. The evening moisturisers that I have been chopping and changing between are Benefit Total Moisture & Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb - Super Recharging Antioxidant Gel-Cream (Night). I have been loving these!!. The Benefit one is super rich and nourishing & the Garnier one is really hydrating. I love the gel formula of it. It just sinks into my skin!!

Oils

The oil I'm currently using and testing out was kindly sent to me by the company, although I am not being paid to talk about it & they have no idea I am including it in this post. It is the Omega Rich Pure Marula Oil. I am really enjoying it so far but promise to have a full review coming soon!

Lipcare

I am very unfortunate in the winter time with dry lips, so to try and combat the dryness and the chapping I use a lip scrub and lip blams. The lip scrub I am currently using (and I'm actually surprised with how much I like) is the PS... Lip Scrub. I picked it up originally for review and spoiler - I'm very impressed with the results! I really like the texture & how my lips feel after using it! The only thing I don't like is that it's in stick form. I don't like the idea of dead skin being left or stuck on it so I always try and clean it after using it. Another lip scrub that I would recommend are the ones from LUSH. I really enjoyed using the Bubblegum one.

Lip balms are also very important to me this time of year. My all time lip saver is the Carmex range! But I also like the Nivea lip balms & the one I am currently using is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Balm with SPF 20. I still prefer the Carmex but I do really like it.

These are all the products I have been currently using & I think they are working for me! Leave me a comment below with any of your skin saviour recommendations!! I'd love to hear them!

*DON'T FORGET - GIVEAWAY still open, details below.

Beauty Blogmas #1 || Festive / Winter makeup Essentials

Hello, Hello, Hello, (or should that be Ho, Ho, Ho!)

Welcome my beauties to Day 1 of Beauty Blogamas!! AAAHHHH!!! I'm so excited right now!! Right so before we get into it I have many exciting things to share with you!! If you have popped over here from my Lifestyle Blog (Beauty La Linda - Lifestyle) then hello again, & you may already know all the news I have to share with you. In this case feel free to skip over this and get right into the beauty part!!

So this year I wanted to #Blogmas properly so I have been a very buzy little bee, planning and buzzing away. Heres what I have in store this Christmas -
  • I will be holding #Blogmas on BOTH Blogs this holiday season! Thats 2 Posts everyday until Christmas!! & Also one on Christmas day!! That's 49 posts in 25 days!! So much content and (hopefully) holiday inspiration and joy for you to get your teeth into!!
  • I will also be doing a #beautyadeventcalendar on my instagram account where you can stay interactive with me and we can share our thoughts and opinions on the products. However it doesn't end there. I will also be holding a holiday GIVEAWAY, including all the products being shown!! I will be posting a post with all the info very soon but make sure you are subscribed to all my social media to be included in the giveaway.
  • I will also be sharing daily festive updates on Twitter!! #Christmassyfun

Now Welcome to my post #Blogmas post!! I thought we would kick off the season with my favourite Winter/Festive Makeup Essentials!! I thought I would share my recommendations in all makeup categories in case you are need of some new products for your stash! Here we go -

Primer

I good primer is essential at this time of year! The days might be shorter in terms of light but they are much longer in terms of things we need to do and places we need to go!! This means your makeup must stay in place!! #bulletproof It must survive all the rushing around, sweating & all the different senarios you are going to put it through!  If you have been following my blog for a while now you will know that a firm favourite has always been the Maybeline Baby Skin Primer - Instant Pore Eraser (Full Review) However since then I have been quite the primer floozy and tried out many a primer. Here are my top pics Loreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Base (Full Review) Wet & Wild Coverall Primer, Base de Teint (Full Review), Benefit Porefessional. I recommend these primers to anyone who is looking for something new to try out... what ever your budget! For me, this holiday season I will be trying out the new PS... PRO Mattifying Primer & PS...PRO Mircle Primer. I picked these up in a recent haul (coming very soon!) and I have to say I am really liking them so far. I will have a full review coming!!

Foundation

Again Base products are essential this time. The only thing I will ask you to remember when it comes to foundation at this time of year, is that for most of us our skin will change with the weather. My skin completely dries up at this time of year. So not only is skincare super important but also the type of foundation can have a huge impact on your skin and the overall finish of your look. I generally stay away from mattifying foundations at the best of times as I have normal to dry skin but this time of year it leans more on the dry side. I think that as long as I properly prep the skin I could use them once and a while for big events but for general day today I am going to stick to my 'holy grail' Loreal True Match foundation.

Eyeshadow

This time of year I like to be a little more dramatic with my eye looks. I like to put a little more effort into my routine. What better time of year to play with makeup!! With all the new collections coming out and all the events to go to!, the whole world is decorated and dressed up and I see no reason why we shouldn't be too. I always tend to turn to palates for this. The one I've been reaching for the most recently is the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 palate. I have seen online that it has been duped with the Lorac Pro 1 palate. I have never tried it but if it is a dupe I recommend both. Even if its not I think it is a great palate & I love the looks I can create from it!! Makeup Revolution is a new brand I'm discovering and I am loving it so far!! However if this is a brand that is not easily accessible to you there are so many brands both high-end and high street (drugstore) that have amazing palates available, especially at this time of year! They are just rolling them out!!

Eyeliner

I love eyeliner most of the year round, however this time of year I bearly go a day with out it!! My absolute favourites (as you may already know) come from Essence. My fave's are the Essence Eyeliner Pen - Waterproof & Essence Kohl Eyeliner Pencil. However there are so many available to make your eyeliner dreams come true. Another brand I recommend for these are Rimmel & Loreal.

Bronzer

I think a little bronzer is always a good thing at this time of year. It adds a little colour and life back into your complexion. I think its a little confidence boost too when the winter blues come along. My favourite is still the Catrice Cosmetics, Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder, Meduim Skin. Next year I do plan on branching out on the bronzer spectrum but at the moment as the saying goes "If it aint broke..."

Blusher

Blush again is one of those products that can instantly add youth and life back into your face with one sweep of your brush. My favourites for this is Benefit Rockateur & Sleek Blushes! If you haven't tried out the Sleek blush range you really need to get yourself to your nearest Boots or Sleek counter and give them a swatch. You wont be disappointed!!

Highlighter

We all need a little glow in our lives! & what better time to glow than the festive season!! I have many options to recommend to you! There are now many different brands at many different price points that have highlighter palates available, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup Revolution, Sleek just to name a few! Essence also does a nice cream to powder highligher. I also like the liquid highlighter Benefit's High Beam & their cream highlighter Watt's up. Let it Glow, Let it Glow, Let it Glow!!

Brows

Good brow game is kind of a must all year round but its definitely not a part of your makeup routine not to be forgotten at this time of year. To be honest it is not an area I have experimented too much with to date. I find that powder and fixing gel gets me covered!! At the moment I'm using and really liking the PS... Brow Kit (which will also be featured in the future haul!) and the Essence Make Me Brow - Eyebrow Gel Mascara. I have heard that it is comparable to the Benefit Gimmie Brow but yet again I have yet to try it. I do know however that I am really enjoying the Make Me Brow.

Lippies

This time of year is such a wonderful time for makeup experimentation and lippy is a great way of doing this too. I love bringing out the berries, mauves / purples, darker brown nudes, wines and reds. Now I tend to prefer berries to reds but there is always an occasion where only a red will do! My favourite brands for lipsticks are MAC, Essence, Wet & Wild Maybelline. I think if you check out these brands you will not be disappointed when it comes to range selection, texture and finish. If you would like to check out lipliners I recommend you try out ones from - PS... Range from Penny's / Primark, Essence, MAC & Rimmel. I also have it on my list to try out the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheats as I have heard so many great things about them!!  The one pictured below is a recent find which will be included in an upcoming haul & it is Essence Long Lasting Lipstick in the Shade 26 (I really don't know why they don't name them anymore #sadface... or maybe I just couldn't find it! #confused)

These are just a few of my recommendations for you guys. I also wanted to show you there is no need to break the budget when it comes to essential cosmetics for the holiday season!!  Please leave me a comment down below with any of your recommendations you would like to share with the rest of us!!

Pennys / Primark Haul

Hey Everyone,

Today I have a little haul for you guys. Since I moved from the city, months at a time go by without venturing into Pennys / Primark these days!! So I was extremely reserved and showed great restraint when I took a wander around yesterday. I wasn't in their for long & I also picked up a new HP Pavillion x2 (My old baby is no longer up to the task so I need a new one & decided for the moment I wanted something a bit more flexible as its a laptop & a tablet, but also travel friendly. This was the perfect option for me for right now! I love it! Its my new little baby!) so I couldn't really justify a Pennys shopping spree on top of that!! However I did pick up a couple of things..... Wana see???

*On a side note - Can you believe we are in autumn already!? #myfavouriteseason

Rose Gold (effect) Chain Detail Necklace

The minute I spotted this I knew I had to have it in my life!! I love it!! I think its the perfect accessory to jazz up any outfit. It was just what I was looking for so I was delighted to pick up this little baby for only E5!!! WIN!

PS... Love This - Flawless Finish Foundation Brush

Okay so I have heard EVERYONE talking about the Oval Style Artis brushes, but lets be real as much as I like to try out new brushes these are super expensive & right now I dont have it in my budget. However that doesn't mean I'm not interested in the concept so I couldn't pass up the PS... Love This range oval style brush for E4. I can't wait to try it out & I actually love that its rose gold (are you sensing a theme here!? Haha)

PS... Individual False Lashes

I had to pick up another pack of my favourite lashes!! I have (as many of you already know) raved about these before!! If you would like to read my full review you can just click here - Review - PS... Eyelashes

PS... Blender Sponge

I dont think I have ever talked about this before but I actually really like this sponge. I have never used the Beauty Blender so I can in no way do a comparison (I will try it some day I promise haha) but I like this one. Its quite firm & I like that. I use it both wet & dry. I use it on its own for foundation & concealer and I also use it as a finishing touch after using a brush for application. This is my second blender sponge. I just felt like it was time to get a new one & again at an amzing price E1!!

Essence Velvet Sticks

In a previous haul, which was an essence haul, I picked up the glossy stick thinking it was these Matt Velvet ones. I was a little bit gutted even though I do like that one. If you missed my Essence haul & would like to check it out you can click on the link here ~ Essence Haul. I really wanted to try these ones as I am still very much in love with the matt lip trend. I picked up two shades. I picked up the shade 01 Nude Hero & 02 Peony Star. Both of these shades are very much me shades, a nude & a mauvey colour. I cant wait to try them out. I will keep you updated!!

Matt Matt Matt Longlasting Lipgloss

Again we have another trend, matt. I saw this and I think its new as I haven't anything like this on the Essence display before. It is in the shade 01 La Vie Est Belle. It is kind of a bubblegum / mauvey pink. It claims that it is a longlasting creamy lipgloss for velvet - matt lip, that doesn't dry out the lips & has high coverage.... we shall see...

So that was my Rose Gold / Matt inspired haul haha, I really didn't plan it & to be honest I didn't even notice until I sat down to write this! However I am very happy with my purchases. Although I am trying to stay on a budget these days, trying to manage my money better, I am very happy with my budget friendly shopping spree where I spent a total of E19.40 !!

Have you picked up anything nice recently that you would like to share?? Leave me a comment & let me know!

Or if you have tried any of the products that I purchased today, what were your thoughts!?

Shower Time Essentials

Hello There Everyone!

& welcome back! Today I want to tell you all about my Shower Essentials.... Just the products I use on a daily basis! I have already done a post on my Makeup & Skincare Essentials which you can read just by clicking on this link Makeup & Skincare Travel Essentials. This got me thinking... maybe some people might be interested to know what products I like to use in the shower? Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this type of post or not!

Showers for me (as Im sure for most people) vary. Theres the "Im Late, Not much time but must be clean, 10 min shower" & then there is the "I have as much time as I want, I feel like living in the shower for an hour shower" Im going to focus on the latter more so.

So what products do I consider essential to my shower routine??

Shampoo & Conditioner

So at the moment I am using Pantene shampoo & Conditioner. The Shampoo is the Pro-V Lightweight & Nourishment one & the conditioner is the Instant Hydration Against Extreme Summer Dryness - Summer Edition. They are different but from the same family. To be honest, I dont look very hard or try very much to experiment with shampoos & conditioners. Although it is something I am getting into a bit more. I think its because in the past (from my beach blonde phase) I had very dry & damaged hair but over the years I have gotten it back to a healthy condition again (with a lot help from my amazing hairdresser at Peter Mark, Boy was her work cut out for her) but now that it is healthy again I dont really worry about what I use on it, Shampoo & Conditioner wise as it pretty much all does the same job but in recent times (& this could be because I have been watching a few hair care routine videos on YouTube) I have been putting a bit more thought into the products I use to wash my hair.

Body Scrub

I always like to have a good body scrub on hand. I actually currently dont have one at the moment, but for me it is pretty much essential if I want to keep up a faux tanning routine. When I dont have one to hand what I will do instead, is keep a pair of exfoliating gloves like these ones pictured here (I love the colour of them) and then turn any shower gel into an exfoliater. I just pick them up in Dealz, Pennys/Primark or Tesco whenever I feel like they need to be replaced & they are really cheap too!

Shower Gel

At the moment I am loving the shower gels by Cussons Imperial Leather & Im currently using Revitalising Ylang Ylang & Juniper. Honestly one of the most important things for me in a shower gel is the smell as it fills up you whole shower. I want something that is going to make me feel happy & clean & awake! Also its going to stay on your skin as well. Dont get me wrong I want it to have nice ingrediants & be good for your skin but whats the point in having a shower and using a product that makes you want to gag (okay a little extreame, but you get my point) & this is definitely one the main reasons I keep going back to the Cussons Imperial Leather shower gels

Shaving foam/ Cream & Razors

I love the Gillette Shaving foam & in particular the one that is infused with Olay. I always go back to Gillette, I just love it. I have used others in the past but I will always come back to it.
Now for razors if I am using disposable ones I will always use mens (as pictured here) as I just personally believe they work better but if I am using one with the disposable heads again I will always Gillette but I just wish they werent so expensive all the time #sadface I usually wait until Boots are having some kind of offer on them.  My favourites are the Spa Breeze or the one infused with Olay.

That is pretty much all I use in the shower as I dont wash my face in the shower I do that before or after depending on whether I have make up on or not.

Body Moisturising Cream

I am currently on the hunt for a in-shower body conditioner & I think I will be picking one up from Lush or I think Nivea have brought one out too. This is mainly because I am lazy & hate putting on moisturiser & waiting for it to dry. The one I am currently trying out is the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion but a favourite of mine is the Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moistuiser (You read a full review by clicking here Review - Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser )

There you have it! Pretty much everything that I use in my shower routine! Obviously I change it up every now & again but these are the types of products I will always use in every shower!

Please leave a comment down below with any recommendations of any shower products you think I might like & should pick up on my next shopping trip!!

First Impressions / Mini Review - PS... Love to Glow Face Mask!

Hello my Beauties!

Today I have another product to share with you! This is from the new (I think its new anyway) PS... Love - Skincare range from Pennys/Primark. I just want to first say there will be a few reviews coming up on PS... Love Products, These have all been purchased with my own money & are not sponsered in anyway as I know currently many bloggers & youtubers have received promotion packages from Primark & are doing posts & videos about them. This is not the case here.

Anyway today I am here today to share my thoughts and views on this little baby. I picked this up about 2 weeks ago, when it caught my eye just sitting there all lonely on the shelf haha. The reason it took me so long to try out was because although I love to try out new things I had a few events and whatnot coming up and when it comes to skincare especially masks, I am always afraid they might break me out.

PS... Love to Glow Face Mask

  • Claims to contain Argan Oil & Vitimin E
  • Claims to Exfoliate & Smooth skin
  • Claims to Brighten & Moisturise dull, tired skin
  • Contains 50ml of product
  • Costs E3.50

It is quite thick in texture. It is a mud mask (or atleast looks like one). It is greyish, brown in colour. I contains small little granules that seem to work as a physical exfoliator, exfoliating the skin as you apply and remove the product.

How I used the product

I applied the product as directed. I applied a thin layer to my clean face avoiding eyes, nose, mouth & ears. I then waited for 10 minutes before I removed the product using warm water.

My Experiance

I was not expecting the the texture of it. although it is quite creamy the granules make it a little scratchy but nothing painful or anything, just like using any other exfoliating product. I applied a thin layer. It felt cooling on the skin. I felt that almost immediately but I kinda liked it. As it began to set the mixture got quite hard & felt tightening which I also liked. It also applied light in colour (more of a light grey) & dried much darker (darker grey brown). Again I liked this as you could see when the product was done.

The Results

I have to say I was surprised. Almost immediately my skin did look brighter & fresher but that was not what I was so surprised about, It was how soft my skin was. I kid you not! about half an hour after I touched my skin & I was like "wow! oh my god! I was not expecting that!"

Recommendation

I have normal to dry skin, so if you have similar skin I definitely recommend  you give it a go!! Im sure other skin types would probably be fine too but as I dont have them myself I cant personally recommend skincare for them. However for me this was an extremely positive experience. I will say however, for the sake of balance, although my skin felt soft & I liked this mask I didnt find anything completely outstanding about it in the days after (nothing that you wouldnt get from alot of other masks) I think the product has been designed and formulated well but it will take a few uses to provide you guys with information on wether this product actually provides some lasting or longer term effects on my skin. I will be sure to come back with an update after a few more uses!

Anything I would change or didnt like?

  • I dont like using my fingers to get the product out of the jar (hygiene reasons), I would love if there was a little spatula or something included but again this is a E3.50 product.
  • They dont say anywhere (that I can find anyway) how often it is recommended to use the product but I will probably just use it once a week or so.
  • I fear it might dry out as the air has gotten into it or it might not work as well anymore.

Thumbs up from me! I cant wait to try out the other skincare products in the range!!

I hope you enjoyed this first impression / mini review. Please leave me a comment down below if you have tried this before or have any thoughts or views on it!!
